Walmart released the ads for its first two Black Friday shopping events this year. The first event will start on November 4 and deals will begin online at 7 p.m. ET. Our deal editors have paged through the Walmart Black Friday ad and have selected the best deals from each event so far. Walmart’s 2020 Black Friday Plans
As mentioned in our previous blog post regarding Walmart’s Black Friday plans for 2020, they’ve broken their sale into three separate events that will feature both online and in-store deals. A timeline for the events is as follows.
Event 1 – November 4-7
Online deals begin 11/4 at 7 p.m. ET In-store deals begin 11/5 at 5 a.m. ET and new online deals added at 12 a.m. ET.
Event 2 – November 11-14
Online deals begin 11/11 at 7 p.m. ET In-store deals begin 11/14 at 5 a.m. ET and new online deals added at 12 a.m. ET.
Event 3 – November 25-27
Online deals begin 11/25 at 7 p.m. ET In-store deals begin 11/27 at 5 a.m. ET and new online deals added at 12 a.m. ET.
We’ve done a deep dive into Walmart Black Friday ad this year and have chosen the best deals for each event. (So far only the ads for the first 2 events have been released. We will add the deals for the third event to this post when it is released.) We don’t see a lot of deals for game consoles and video games, housewares and home decor, or apparel, so keep an eye out for those sales in the ad for the 3rd event! Note that some deals are available online only and some are in-store only.

The Best Walmart Black Friday Deals – Event 1
Hot Wheels Power Shift Raceway Track Set

Deal editor Marisa says this is a great price for this motorized booster loop toy. It comes with 5 Hot Wheels vehicles and can connect to other Hot Wheels sets.
Instant Pot Duo Crisp

Marisa also points out that the Walmart Black Friday price for the Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer is better than we saw for Amazon’s Prime Day.
Apple AirPods; 2nd gen

Our managing editor, Casey, notes that this is the lowest price ever on 2nd gen Air Pods. If you’ve been on the lookout for a deal for these, watch for them to hit Walmart.com on November 4!

This is $40 off their regular price and $31 less than we’ve ever seen it.
Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum

We see this vacuum regularly sold for $299 and sometimes on sale for $199.99, but we haven’t seen it this low before.
Men’s Fruit of the Loom Pants or Women’s Cozy Socks

Everyone needs to stock up on new pajama pants and cozy socks for the holidays. We expect more apparel deals in the Black Friday ad for Walmart’s 3rd event.
The Best Walmart Black Friday Deals – Event 3
Apple AirPods Pro

Black Friday Price: $169
A price low this year, Walmart will have the AirPods Pro for at least $21 less than we’ve seen them all year. Be sure to check to see if other retailers (ahem, Amazon) price match.
Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle
Regular Price: $350
Black Friday Price: $299
With a digital download of Mario Kart 8, this is one of the only Nintendo Switch bundles we’ve seen this year.
Cricut Explore Air
Regular Price: $179
Black Friday Price: $140
We aren’t positive if this is a Cricut Explore Air 2 (which is selling for over $200 on most sites right now) but it’s still worth a call-out. It includes $80 worth of exclusive image content.
VIZIO 70″ Class 4K UHD LED Smart TV HDR V-Series V705x-H1
Regular Price: $649
Black Friday Price: $478
Walmart isn’t listing the original price on their site, but this model and similar models are running around $650 on other sites. This is a great price for a TV of this size and with these specs.
6V Minnie Mouse Train
Regular Price: $69
Black Friday Price: $49
This is a favorite of our editors with kids. We’ve seen this for over $85 at other retailers so far this year!
Apple Watch Series 3
Regular Price: $179
Black Friday Price: $119
While this is an older model of the Apple Watch, we’ve never seen it below $189. If you or someone on your gift list is looking for an Apple Watch and you’re on a budget, this is a great way to get one.
Tranquility 12lb. Weighted Blanket
Regular Price: $36
Black Friday Price $17
At $17, this is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for a weighted blanket. We did see a $16 option at Kohl’s earlier in November, but with Walmart’s shipping policy, this could end up being a great Black Friday buy.
Kid’s Mercedes and Silverado Ride-On Toys
Regular Price: $149
Black Friday Price: $98
Another toy favorite, these ride-on toys are a price low for the year for these select cars. We have seen other models for under $80, but the Silverado and Mercedes are price lows for the year.
T-Fal 22-pc. Cookware Set
Regular Price: $60
Black Friday Price: $49
At $49, this nearly matches the $48 price we’ve seen all year for the 18-piece T-Fal set. If you’re in the market for new cookware, this is a solid bet with 4 more pieces than we’ve seen for around the same price. They do not currently have this set on their site, so we cannot link to it yet.
Kid’s Bikes and Trampoline under $30
Regular price: $60
Black Friday Price: $25-$29
Keep your kids busy indoors or outdoors while at home with kids bikes for $29 and a toddler trampoline for $25. The bikes come in a variety of sizes, see the last page of the ad for more bike details.
Hydro-Force Havana Inflatable Hot Tub
Regular Price: $399.99
Black Friday Price: $197
What better way to spend your holidays at home than in a steamy, hot tub? This is over 50% off and about $50 less than we’ve seen an inflatable hot tub in the past few years.
