Top Tips for Taking care of your hair!!!
This is a sponsored post. All opinions within are that of my own.

Did you know that your hair is actually DEAD? Its true, But just because it is, doesn't mean that you shouldn't take care of it! The best way to care for your hair is to care for your scalp at the same time! Here are some Great tips to keep your hair healthy and keep it around a little longer:

WASH IT THE CORRECT WAY:

Get it really wet
Use a small amount of shampoo
Don't scratch or dig into your scalp
Rinse until the bubbles are gone
Let your hair air dry whenever you can.
Comb it out carefully ; Don't yank!!
PROTECT IT:
Limit your hairs exposure to the sun (Wear a hat on really bright days.)
Avoid chemicals such as chlorine
Wash your hair immediately after swimming
Limit treatments used to color or perm
Avoid using heat (Hair Dryers and Irons)
KEEP IT TRIMMED:

The most common type of hair damage is split ends!
They are not only unsightly but also can cause your hair to stop growing properly!
You can't repair them once the damage is done. All you can do is cut them off.
If you're worried about your hair or scalp you could always go to a dermatologist just to keep your mind at ease. Of course if your hair is already damaged or you just don't want the hassle of extreme care of longer hair you could always buy yourself a new full head of beautiful hair online!

Spring is still a few weeks away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start dreaming of warmer weather, flowers blooming, and iced anything instead of foods meant to keep us warm. Please Stop Stereotyping My Sons

From the minute my oldest son was born, the threats began…veiled and in a joking manner mind you, but offensive nonetheless. Friends of ours, fathers with baby girls, were so quick to “joke” about how we better keep our son away from their daughters. As time went on and we had 2 more boys, the […]

Daily Mom Military: Married to the Military

I don’t know any military spouse that went looking to become a military spouse. Every spouse I know, it just kind of…happened. We met our husband or wife and fell in love. For some of us, they were already in the military. For others, it was a decision made after the marriage certificate had been […]

Valentine’s Day Clothing for Kids We Love

Valentine’s Day gets a bad rap, often referred to as “single’s awareness day” or a “Hallmark Holiday.” Ask any child and they’ll tell you what Valentine’s Day is about: love and sharing that love with others. Whether it’s sending Grandma a card full of hearts and glitter or picking out their favorite Paw Patrol Valentine for their friends, […]
